“Chaos is merely order waiting to be deciphered.”
― José Saramago, The Double
Rogue humans won’t be able to afford the expenses to be rogue much longer. Pay day is coming and I don’t mean that in a good way.
“We cannot expect people to have respect for law and order until we teach respect to those we have entrusted to enforce those laws.”
― Hunter S. Thompson
Many folks have lost their way of living in humility and their respect for each other – we’ve lost the way of being humane. Maybe we’ve lost ourselves along the way as well…
Is this how a broken world looks like?
“Chaos was the law of nature; Order was the dream of man.”
― Henry Adams, The Education of Henry Adams
Unknowingly, folks are starving for crumbs of hope. Unknowingly, people have been searching for purpose… in all the wrong places and for all the wrong reasons.
– What, then, does it mean to be carriers of light/ carriers of hope?
– How can someone, carrying a light, help those near and around them?
“Your ultimate reason for staying in this crooked world is not to imitate its devastating physique, but trying do something about its ugly appearance.”
― Michael Bassey Johnson
Light bearers shine light, that’s what they do – wherever they are they have to ensure that the light is shining. Easy job description, right?! Yet, only few people are delving themselves into this occupation.
In a dark and cold world, light carriers are few and the only beacons of hope the world has left. Their light shines on the way, the way back to being humane again, back to true inner peace. They bring glimpses of hope and little rays of peace into the darkest and coldest places – to those trapped by the coldness and the darkness there…
“May the light of the Guardian dwell in you always, and may you be a source of light in those places where shadows gather. (Mariah Templeton, Earth’s Watcher to Ben)”
― Dianne Astle, Ben the Dragonborn
These beacons of hope are indicators and guides to help those near and around them to reach inner peace and to enjoy a walk with God in humility. (Humility, here, does not mean less of me, just more of God.) If more people served as being the light carrier in a village, town, city or even a organization, sooner or later there would be a whole “community” of light bearers and their numbers will be ever rising.
“Be a beacon for the ones lost in the sea of emotions”
― Meeran W. Malik
There is no need and no true desire for waywardness and anarchy. We’re all trying to do the best with what we have.
