“… FAITH: … Full Assurance In The Heart.”
― Nick Vujicic
“Faith is the bird that feels the light and sings when the dawn is still dark.”
― Rabindranath Tagore
“I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.”
― C.S. Lewis
Doubting, derailing, down-falling, discouraged, demotivated, distracted, blinded. This is the stuff of nightmares – and its real. We are easily thrown off of our life long journeys by losing sight of our goals and losing sight of knowing where we’re going.
– In other words, missing the bigger picture has never been easier – and it happens all the time. We lose sight of our visions, dreams, goals, ambitions and end up becoming grumpy, demotivated headaches for the people around us.
“Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.”
― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring
We have all experienced some form of being thrown into the gutter of life. We’ve all been blind and we’ve all lost sight of the road somewhere along the line. I would love to remind and encourage you, on this note, to keep faith – keep the assurance that the road you’re on hasn’t dissolved along – with/into the darkness, the pain of life. No, it will always be there, you will have to keep on moving forward with the full assurance in your heart that things will become real clear real soon.
“Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.”
― Corrie ten Boom
“The function of prayer is not to influence God, but rather to change the nature of the one who prays.”
― Soren Kierkegaard
Your hardest times often lead to the greatest moments of your life. Keep going. Tough situations build strong people in the end.”
― Roy T. Bennett, The Light in the Heart
Move forward with great assurance, even though you feel like falling apart on the inside, move forward in prayer – step by step. Jesus said we walk not by sight, but with faith – full on assurance that things will workout and be okay.
“Sometimes beautiful things come into our lives out of nowhere. We can’t always understand them, but we have to trust in them. I know you want to question everything, but sometimes it pays to just have a little faith.”
― Lauren Kate, Torment
